Adrian Peterson opened the scoring for the Vikings with a one-yard run before Wilson found Golden Tate and Sidney Rice with four-yard and 11-yard receptions respectively to put Seattle 14-7 in front.

Peterson's second TD of the game levelled the score with Blair Walsh's field goal putting Minnesota back in front, but Tate's second touchdown of the game gave Seattle a half-time lead.

Lynch's three-yard touchdown run effectively sealed the victory in the third quarter with Walsh only mustering one more field goal for the Vikings. Steven Hauschka's three-pointer for Seattle completed the scoring.

Seattle remain second in the NFC West behind the San Francisco 49ers despite the victory while Minnesota have now dropped two straight and lie third in the NFC North.
