Rafael Nadal will complete his warm-up for Wimbledon in the BNP Paribas Tennis Classic at The Hurlingham Club on Friday.
The French Open champion and two-time Wimbledon winner, who was controversially seeded fifth by the All England Club following his return from a long injury lay-off, will face Japan's Kei Nishikori on Friday afternoon.
Nadal said: "I am happy to play the event at the Hurlingham Club, especially as I haven't played on grass since the French Open. Thank you for this opportunity, I'm looking forward to a great match."
Because Nadal has not been moved up the seedings for Wimbledon, the Spaniard could meet Andy Murray at the quarter-final stage should they both advance through to the second week.
The decision of the All England Club to not to move Nadal from his world ranking of five, an arguably false position caused by a seven-month injury lay-off, has drawn criticism, with Murray's former coach Brad Gilbert calling it a "100 per cent joke".
