The beautiful city of Uyo, the Akwa Ibom state capital, has come alive as the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, venue of the World Cup qualifier between Nigeria and Zambia, is bathed in sunshine.
With less than one hour to kick-off of the encounter as at the time of filing this report, fans have come out in their thousands to support the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Nigeria, who are just one win away from the 2018 World Cup in Russia, face Zambia on Saturday, October 7, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium. Kick-off time for the game is 5pm (Nigerian time).
