- Chelsea defeated Qarabag 6-0 in the Champions League opener
- Wing-back Victor Moses was mocked after the wonder-goal by Zappacosta
- The Nigerian winger is likely to return to the starting 11 in the blues Premier League home game against Arsenal
Chelsea crushed their opponent Qarabag 6-0 at Stamford Bridge and new signing Davide Zappacosta score the goal of the evening as his shot from 30 yards flew into the net.
During the wild celebrations in the Chelsea dugout following the mind blowing goal, David Luiz and Willy Caballero were seen joking with Moses, presumably telling him that his days in the team’s right flank may be numbered after Zappacosta’s thunderbolt.
However, the Italy international took the shine off the goal by admitting that his effort was a cross.
But after the game, Conte was keen to praise his summer signing from Torino.
‘He played a really good game, now he has to continue to improve,’ said the Chelsea boss.
‘For sure he knew my style of football, that’s why I started with him.
