Liverpool on Saturday, August 12, 2017 were forced to a 3-3 draw by hosts Watford in their first Premier League duel of the new season played at the Vicarage Stadium.
Jurgen Klopp's men will however have themselves to blame for sharing the points with their opponents after allowing Watford to score at the death.
Watford began the encounter impressive by giving the Reds flurry of attacks before a defensive gaffe gave them the first goal in the 8th minutes through Stefano Okaka.
Liverpool fought back after conceding the first goal, and Senegalese striker Sadio Mane restored the parity for the visitors in the 29th minutes.
But Watford went ahead again in the 32nd minutes when Abdoulaye Doucoure netted a wonderful goal in which Liverpool goalie Simon Mignolet had no choice.
Liverpool came back with lots of zeal in the second half as Firmino scored the second goal via a penalty in the 55th minute before Mohamed Salah put them ahead in the 57th minutes.
Jurgen Klopp was anxiously waiting for the final whistle, but he was disappointed at the death when Miguel Britos scored for Watford to deny Liverpool a win as the match ended 3-3.
