- PSG paid a world record of €222 million for Neymar
Paris Saint German record signing Neymar is set to make his debut in his new club's colours on Sunday August 13 as they visit Guingamp.
The bank problem holding up Neymar's Paris Saint-Germain registration has been cleared and the Brazil skipper should be free to make his debut on Sunday against Guingamp, NAIJ.com understands.
The Brazilian made a world-record €222 million move from Barcelona to PSG last week but was unable to play because they were some paperwork that needed to be sorted out. Those issues are set to be ironed out over the next 24 hours, allowing him to play at Stade du Roudourou.
Neymar debut has been put on hold due as PSG awaits International Transfer Certificate (ITC), but Barca refused to clear it until they had received the funds from the French outfit into their bank account.
The Spanish football giants have now received the money and as such have given the OKAY for the Spanish FA (RFEF) to send the ITC to their counterparts in France.
