- Premier League side Liverpool will not sell Brazilian star Philippe Coutinho
- The Reds' handler Jurgen Klopp has affirmed the club's decision
- Spanish side Barcelona want him to replace Neymar at Camp Nou
Jurgen Klopp who is the coach of Premier League side Liverpool has insisted that the Reds will not sell their star player Philippe Coutinho regardless any amount.
Since the departure of Brazilian star Neymar at Barcelona, the Spanish club want his fellow countryman Coutinho to replace him at the club.
They have made a mega million bid for Coutinho, and Liverpool who will be facing Hoffenheim in the Champions League play off have rejected the bid from Barcelona.
“Liverpool is not a club that has to sell players. That is set in stone. So what they pay in the end doesn’t matter.
“From a financial standpoint, there is no price limit to let him go or a price that we are ready to give in.
“Our goal is to have the best possible team. So we want to keep our guys and add new ones. That is our plan.
“Today no player on the planet is untouchable. But a transfer is also a question of timing and if you have the opportunity and the need to react to such a transfer.
“Also you have to ask, if you have the time to react. But just because of one request of one club, we don’t have to think about that. We are not in that situation.” Klopp explained.
Liverpool will be away at Watford on August 12, 2017 where they will face the hosts in their first Premier League game of the 2017/18 League season.
