Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is hopeful that a whopping contract will persuade Chilean international soccer star Alexis Sanchez to stay at the club next season.
Sanchez has stated clearly that he wants to play in the UEFA Champions League next term and wants a move to a club that will campaign in the championship.
But Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is optimistic that the former Barcelona forward will be convinced to play for the Gunners next term even as he has one more year on his current deal.
The Gunners are ready to pay him £275,000-a-week for him to lead the club's attack next season in the Premier League.
Sanchez in currently in his home country where he is enjoying a pre-season break, and he is expected to have a talk with the club before the end of July 2017.
Meanwhile, Premier League club Manchester City and German side Bayern Munich are in race to lure Sanchez away from Arsenal.
