Premier League club Liverpool have reportedly joined rivals and reigning champions Chelsea in the race to land Gabonese and Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Fresh report reaching NAIJ.com stated that the two Premier League clubs have made contact with the German club over a potential move to land the African star in England this summer.
Borussia Dormund chiefs have demanded whopping sum of £65million and Liverpool and the Blues are ready to meet the asking price of the German club.
Liverpool have made Aubameyang their top transfer target since April 2016, and the Reds have tried many times to lure the 28-year-old to Anfield.
Chelsea on the other hand want the forward who scored 40 goals last term in all competition to lead their attack next season in the Premier League and also in the UEFA Champions League.
Antonio Conte who is the handler of the Blues wants an experienced replacement for Spanish striker Diego Costa who is set to leave Stamford Bridge.
Aubameyang has been said to be interested in a move to London, but he has not made his intention public as to where he will play next season.
