Nigerian international football star Troost Ekong has completed an impressive move to Turkish Super Lig side Bursaspor.
The experienced defender joined the Bursaspor from KAA Gent and is expected to be in Turkey for the next three years.
Bursaspor confirmed the deal for the 23-year-old player who ix expected to undergo his medicals on Saturday, July 8, 2017.
'The Nigerian defense player William Troost-Ekong and his club in Belgium KAA Gent have been agreed in principle and the player will sign a three-year contract after tomorrow’s health check,” Bursaspor stated in a statement.
Troost-Ekong was born in the Netherlands to a Nigerian father, and Dutch mother and played the u19 and u20 levels for Netherlands.
He opted to play for Nigeria senior national team and made debut on June 13, 2015 in an AFCON qualifier against Chad where he played full 90 minutes.
