Super Eagles striker Gbolahan Salami has reportedly been handed a six-match ban by Finland FA following his dismissal in a crucial match for his club side.
The KuPS forward was given a straight red card in his side's 2-1 defeat to Mariehamn on June 4, 2017.
The Nigerian international furiously protested to the referee following his disallowed goal in that game.
Although the 26-year-old was given a mandatory two-match ban as a result of the red card, Finland FA disciplinary committee sanctioned another four-match extra ban for the Nigerian striker.

NAIJ.com gathered that Salami admitted he was guilty in a hearing into the incident in Finland.
The ruthless striker has already missed two matches due to the ban and will miss KuPS’s upcoming fixtures against Ilves, PS Kemi, HIFK and Lahti.
The Nigerian is KuPS top-scorer this season with four goals and will definitely be missed by the Finnish club. He is yet to be invited by new Super Eagles boss Gernot Rohr.
