Aston Villa have completed the signing of Chelsea legend John Terry on a free transfer.
Villa boss Tony Xia announced the deal for the 36-year-old on his Twitter account on Monday, July 3, 2017.
The club owner posted: "Welcome JT to Birmingham city...Aston Villa!#UTV! @AVFCOfficial Announcement shortly!".

The Blues legend will continue to wear the no. 26 jersey in his new club as he previously wore it in his last club.
NAIJ.com reported that Terry announced he will be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of last season after spending 22 years with the Blues.
The English defender made 713 appearances for Chelsea since he made his debut for the Blues in 1998.
