Premier League champions Chelsea have announced the siging of former Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero ahead of the start of the 2017/18 season.
The Argentine joins the club as a free agent and he is expected to serve as back-up to first choice Thibaut Courtois.
NAIJ.com had earlier reported that the 35-year-old goalkeeper had his medicals on June 19.
He spent the past three seasons at City, having started his career at Boca Juniors in his native Argentina before playing for Spanish clubs Elche and Malaga.
He was signed after Asmir Begovic left the club for fellow Premier League side Bournemouth.
