- Gabriel Jesus wants Dani Alves to join him at Manchester City
- Alves has confirmed his departure at Italian side Juventus
- Manchester City and Chelsea are in serious competition to land him
Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has urged his countryman Dani Alves to snub a mega million move to Premier League champions Chelsea and join him at Manchester City this summer.
This comes after the former Barcelona defender confirmed on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 that he will be leaving Italian side Juventus this summer.
Alves has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City for him to have a reunion with former boss Pep Guardiola but Chelsea are also said to be interested in bringing him to Stamford Bridge.
“It still hasn’t become concrete. But when it does, I’ll be quite happy. I will be quite happy not only for the quality, but for the energy he has.
“I really like the energy he has that motivates the group, motivates the person to always want to win in life and playing. I’m worried he’s not sure yet,'' Jesus explained.
Meanwhile, Dani Alves is expected to make a final decision soon on where he will play next season.
