- Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea is looking more likely to happen
- The Belgian has been reported to have agreed a big money move to Chelsea
- The 24-year-old has also started following a host of Chelsea stars on social media
Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is on the verge of a return to Chelsea after he ‘agreed terms’ and started following a host of players from the club on social media.
The Belgian forward left the Blues, then coached by Jose Mourinho in 2014 after three seasons of playing a bit-part role at Stamford Bridge.
On Tuesday, Lukaku told Sky Sports: “My agent knows what’s going to happen and I know as well.
“I’m staying calm and we have an agreement with the club as well. We stay calm and at least we have a direction where we want to go.
“I’m just going to rest for a few days and then just prepare for next season.
“I want to put the time in on my holiday to take everything to another level and be better than I was last year.”
Before joining the Toffes on a permanent basis in 2014, Lukaku was loaned out to West Brom and then Everton.
The major reason why Lukaku is leaving the Toffes is the lure of Champions League football which he has repeatedly said he wanted.
In the just concluded 2016-17 season, he scored 25 times in 37 games.
With Diego Costa expected to leave the club in the summer, the 24-year old could be the man Antonio Conte will rely on for goals next season.
According to reports, Lukaku has no intention in moving to Old Trafford and only wants a return to Chelsea.
