- Chelsea striker Diego Costa wants the club to sign Everton forward Romelu Lukaku
- The Spaniard could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge and wants Lukaku to replace him
- Costa is reportedly close to a return to Spanish club Atletico Madrid this summer
Spanish international striker Diego Costa has admitted that he could be on his way out of Premier League champions Chelsea and the former Atletico Madrid forward wants the Blues to sign Everton forward Romelu Lukaku.
Diego Costa was reportedly close to a move to the Chinese Super League in January 2017, but he is now keen on making a return to Atletico Madrid.
After Chelsea's FA Cup final loss against Arsenal, Diego Costa has refused to commit his future to the London based club fueling speculation that he could leave Stamford Bridge.
Romelu Lukaku is top of Antonio Conte’s summer shopping list and a potential deal for the Belgian hit-man could be financed by selling Costa.
”I do not know, because that’s a decision for the club., but I want him to play for Chelsea next term.
“Of course Lukaku is a very big player who played an impressive season. I hope he can sign at Chelsea because it’s a unique club.” Costa explained.
