- Manchester United are in pot 2 of the UEFA Champions league for next season
- The Red Devils defeated Ajax to win the Europa league and qualify for the UCL
- Man City, Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, PSG, Dortmund and FC Porto in the pot 2
Manchester United will avoid Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, PSG, FC Porto and Borussia Dortmund in next year's UEFA Champions League.
Their victory in the UEFA Europa League final on Wednesday, May 24, has assured them a seeding in Pot 2.
They could be drawn with any of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Monaco, Benfica, Shakhtar Donetsk or Spartak Moscow who are all in pot one.

UEFA's coefficient states that winning the tournament guarantees them a place in Pot 2.
A top-four Premier League finish without their successful Europa League campaign would have put them in Pot 3.
The Red Devils could also face any of Sevilla, Napoli or Tottenham Hotspur depending on the qualification process.
Man United will still have to face a Pot 1 team, though they can't be drawn against Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham and Man City because they are from the same country.
