Former world heavyweight boxing Champion Evander Holyfield has arrived Lagos to battle former Lagos state governor Bola Tinubu in a fight tagged 'Rumble in Lagos.

The former champions remembered for his battles with Mike Tyson and Lennox Lewis was received by Governor Akinwunmi Ambode in the state house.

The 54-year-old will fight the Jagaban in the Rumble in Lagos exhibition match on Thursday, 25th of May at the landmark Event center, Oniru, Lagos.

Professor Wole Soyinka will be the referee for the match which will be broadcast live on TV, as reported by Legit.ng a few months back.

The fight will be in celebration of the Lagos @50 events happening all over the state.

Part of the proceeds from the fight would be given to not-for-profit organisations and agencies in Lagos.
