Manchester City have given themselves a great chance of finishing among the top four teams at the end of the ongoing season after beating former champions Leicester City 2-1 on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola's men knew before the match that a win would send them to third position on the Premier League standings, and they did not disappoint their fans.

David Silva scored the first goal for the hosts in the 29th minute after being superbly set up by Leroy Sane.

But the visitors reduced the scoreline in the 42nd minute with a wonderful goal by Shingi Okazaki as both sides went to the break with the hosts leading 2-1.

In the second half, Leicester City who were dethroned on Friday night, May 12, tried to leave the Etihad Stadium with a point, but all their efforts were futile as Manchester City won the match 2-1.
