- Ahmed Musa set to leave Leicester City after one season
- The Super Eagles star has struggled to get regular first team action since joining the club
- He signed for the Foxes from CSKA Moscow for £17 million last summer
Ahmed Musa is on the verge of leaving Leicester City after less than one year with the club.
The Super Eagles forward joined the reigning English champions last summer for £17 million but has failed to impress coaches at the club since joining.
Although he was signed by the former Foxes boss Claudio Raineri, he has struggled to get first team action under new boss Craig Shakespeare.
The 24-year-old has made only seven starts for the Foxes in the Premier League this season.
Musa has only netted 4 times in 31 appearances for the English champions and has not scored for the club since January.
The former CSKA Moscow man may find himself further down the pecking order if the Foxes are to bolster their squad in the summer.
In contrast to Musa's position, Super Eagles star Wilfred Ndidi have settled well in England since moving to the Kings Power Stadium despite joining the club in January.
