Premier League leaders Chelsea have given themselves a great chance of winning the League title after beating relegation threatened Middlesbrough 3-0 on Monday night, May 8, 2017.
Antonio Conte's men knew before the match that a win would be glorious for their title ambition, and the Blues did not disappoint their faithfuls at Stamford Bridge.
Spanish international Diego Costa opened scoring for Chelsea in the 23rd minute after being set-up with a superb cross from former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas.
The visitors failed to threaten Chelsea defense as the Blues' attacking trio of Pedro, Costa and Hazard were superb upfront.
Cesar Azpilicuela supplied a good cross in the 34th minute, and Marcos Alonso wasted no time to score the second goal for the Blues.
Nemanja Matic scored the third and winning goal for Chelsea in the 65th minute as the Blues will now need a win in their next three matches to be crowned champions.
It ended; Chelsea 3-0 Middlesbrough.
Chelsea's next game will be away to West Bromwich Albion on Friday, May 8.
