The 24-year-old Rudiger is coming towards the end of his second season in Serie A and has 12 international caps for the Germany national team.

Nainggolan was on Conte's radar last summer but the Belgian rejected a move in order to stay with the capital club but he is considering his future after becoming disillusioned with the club.

On his part, Conte has publicly admitted he is keen to sign new players in ahead of next season.
