- A derby clash between Caps United and Dynamos in Zimbabwe was called off because of Nigerian Pastor Chris Oyakhilome
- The pastor and leader of Christ Embassy was scheduled to hold a crusade at the National Sports Stadium
- Authorities in Zimbabwe are looking for an alternative venue for the huge clash which was postponed indefinitely
A crusade hosted by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome's Christ Embassy has forced authorities to cancel the CAPS United and Dynamos FC derby.
The derby was supposed to hold on Sunday, May 7, but it was postponed indefinitely because another venue could not be found for the fixture.
The Premier Soccer League match was supposed to hold at the National Sports Stadium.
NAIJ.com gathered that the teams were locked out of the stadium after Pastor Oyakhilome suddenly booked the facility for a special service of his Christ Embassy Ministries.
An alternative venue which could have been used is still undergoing renovations after the authorities decided to do away with the damaged artificial turf and replacedd it with natural grass.
This has left the league without an alternative venue and PSL spokesperson Kudzai Bare said a new date will be announced.
