- Antonio Conte has said he will love Eden Hazard to stay at the club next season
- But the Italian admitted that the decision is beyond his power
- Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid
Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has explained that Belgian international Eden Hazard will not join Spanish side Real Madrid if he is given the power, but stressed that the club's chiefs will decide.
Eden Hazard has been impressive this season for the Blues, and he has been constantly linked with a move to Real Madrid at the end of the ongoing season in Europe.
Recently, NAIJ.com learnt that Hazard has reportedly told one of his friends that he wants to leave the Blues for a move to Spanish club Real Madrid.
“I can tell you my opinion but the club has the final word and you know that in football there is the will of the player. I think Eden is very happy to stay with us.
“I don’t have a crystal ball and it is impossible for me to take this responsibility not only for Eden but for every player. But the fans love him and I think there are a lot of positive things that will persuade him to try to reach the best with this club.
“Don’t forget that the target of this club is to try to win in every competition we play in,'' Conte explained.
