Arsenal are reportedly targeting a surprise move for St Etienne defender Florentin Pogba – elder brother of Manchester United star Paul.
According to UK sun, citing, Team Talk, Arsene Wenger is a fan of the 26-year-old, and could launch a bid to bring a second Pogba to the Premier League.
The report added: “Punters are positive Pogba will become a Gunner this summer.”
But Florentin could soon find himself centre-stage at Arsenal following Wenger’ switch to a three-man defence.
Wenger is out of contract this summer but is expected to sign a new two-year deal before embarking on a huge spending spree.
NAIJ.com can report that Man United’s Paul Pogba has two older twin-brothers who are also footballers, Florentin, the eldest and Mathias who plays for Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam and the Guinean national team.
Recall that Florentin and Paul had faced off in the Europa League in February. They may likely come up against each other, but this time in the Premier League, should the deal go through.
