- Arsenal owner Stan Kroenke has donated $1 million to Donald Trump
- The money is for the American president's inaugural fund
- Fulham’s Shahid Khan also donated the same figure of money
Owner of Premier League club Arsenal, Stan Kroenke, has reportedly donated the sum of $1million which is equivalent to £783,000 to Donald Trump’s inaugural fund.
NAIJ.com understands that Stan Kroenke's huge contribution came as Donald Trump was named the 45th president of the United States of America.
Kroenke was not the only football owner to throw cash towards Trump’s inauguration as figures released on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 showed.
Fulham’s Shahid Khan donated the same figure whilst Manchester United director Joel Glazer also contributed just under £200,000.
The 69-year-old American business entrepreneur has been badly criticized in recent months for showing love to embattled Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.
He has also offered the Frenchman a two-year extension for him to continue as the Gunners' boss.
