Premier League leaders Chelsea and second placed Tottenham have dominated the PFA team of the year which was announced on April 20, 2017 with six games to end the Premier League season.
Chelsea and Tottenham dominate with four players apiece with the Blues’ center backs Gary Cahill and David Luiz, midfielder N’Golo Kante and winger Eden Hazard all included.
But despite his sparkling form this season for Manchester United, Zlatan Ibrahimovic was not listed in the PFA team of the year.
Ibrahimovic has scored 28 goals in his debut season for the Red Devils, and the Swede has already won a title this term for United.
NAIJ.com can report that Arsenal striker Alexis Sanchez was also not listed in the PFA team of the year despite being nominated for the player of the year category.
