- Real Madrid want to sign Manchester United goalie David De Gea
- The Spanish club are ready to break the bank to land the 26-year-old
- But it is not clear if Manchester United would allow him to leave
Spanish giants Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a world record fee of £60 million to lure Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea to Spain this summer.
NAIJ.com understands that Real Madrid chiefs will turn to Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois should they fail in their bid to sign De Gea at the end of the ongoing League season in Europe.
According to the report, Real Madrid are in desperate position to sign David De Gea and will do all they could to land him to the Bernabeu.
But the news would anger Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho who has vowed not to lose any of his best players at the end of the season.
Mourinho sent a very public message to the Spanish international last week that he should not be thinking of a move but instead concentrate on the Red Devils.
De Gea, 26, would have joined Real Madrid in 2015 but the two clubs failed to register a £30 million deal in time on transfer deadline day.
