The believe and hope of many Barcelona fans was for their team to make a miraculous come back after suffering a 3-0 loss in the first leg in Turin, but Juventus proved a hard nut to crack.
Argentine Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez tried all they could to find the back of the net, but Juventus' defense was too strong.
Juventus have now joined Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid who have earlier secured qualification for the 2017 UEFA Champions League semi finals.
In the other game played on Wednesday night, April 19, French side Monaco also cruised to the semi finals after beating German side Borussia Dortmund 3-1 in the second leg tie.
Monaco have already assured themselves a place in the last four after beating Dortmund 3-2 in Germany in the first leg to win 6-3 on aggregates.
