Manchester city goalkeeper Joe Hart is set to join Liverpool for a fee of £20million.
The English shot-stopper is on a season long loan to Italian side Torino and will return to England at the end of the season with Anfield looking like his likely destination.
According to reports, the Serie A side want to keep the 30-year-old for another season but they cannot afford the services of the England number one.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has signed off on the move for the English goalkeeper for £20million as Guardiola feels he is surplus to their requirements at Manchester City.
The Citizens' boss sent Hart on loan after his arrival at the Ethihad stadium in the 2016 summer transfer window.
The 30-year-old was shocked after Guardiola relegated him to the bench for his lack of ability to use his feet rather than his hands.
His replacement Claudio Bravo and Willy Caballero failed to impress the Spaniard after he exiled the English number one to Torino.
