Nigerian striker Isaac Success had a change to reduce the deficit for Watford before the break, but his effort was well saved by Spurs' goalie Hugo Lloris who was at full stretch.

Tottenham are now on 68 points after 31 games and they are 4 points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea.
