- City boss Craig Shakespeare said Musa should not bring the name of the club down
Leicester City manager Craig Shakespeare has warned Super Eagles forward Ahmed Musa to be mindful of his conduct following his arrest over an alleged fight with his wife Jamila.
The former Kano Pillars star was said to have been arrested on Wednesday night (April 5, 2017) in his home on the suspicion of beating his wife.
Shakespeare who replaced sacked Claudio Ranieri however exlained that the 24-year-old Nigerian international has explained what transpired to him.
''He assured me that there wasn't anything special that happened and we have warned him to be mindful of what he does as we will not accept any player to bring the name of this club to disrepute,'' he said.
Meanwhile, NAIJ.com learnt that Ahmed Musa's wife Jamila was furious over her husband's plan to marry another wife named Juliet.
