Premier League club Arsenal have been said to be considering a mega transfer deal to lure Benfica goalkeeper Ederson Santana to the Emirates stadium next season.
NAIJ.com learnt that the Gunners' chiefs want the Brazilian professional player to replace ageing Petr Cech who joined Arsenal from rivals Chelsea.
But the Gunners will have to face serious competition from Manchester City and Liverpool who are also said to be interested in the 23-year-old shot stopper.
According to the report, Arsenal board have sent their scouts to Portugal in a bid to convince the player for a transfer deal to London at the end of the season.
Last season, Ederson Santana became a regular for Benfica, and he has been impressive since then and Arsenal must now finish among the top four teams for a chance to land him in the summer.
