Nigerian international Michael Babatunde wins top scorer award in Qatar league second division.
The SC Qatar forward scored 25 goals in 17games but his side finished second on the table behind winners Al Markiya.
The Nigerian forward hasn’t played for the Super Eagles since the 2014 World Cup in Brazil where he was one of the best performers in the team and he also played a vital role in Nigeria’s qualification to the round of 16.
"I am happy achieving this feat but I want more successes with this team”, he said in an interview with Complete Sports Nigeria.
NAIJ.com reports that Babatunde’s club is in the Emir Cup final and will play against El Jaish on May 9 for the title.
The Nigerian forward also said he will love to return to the Super Eagles, but asks if they will be chance for players in Qatar in the Super Eagles.
