- Furious Arsenal fans have warned the Gunners board not to allow Wenger to sign a new deal
- There is a two year deal on the table for the embattled Frenchman
- The fans threatened to attack Wenger and the board should the former Monaco boss sign the deal
Angry Arsenal fans have vowed that things would get more terrible if embattled manager Arsene Wenger should sign a new two-year deal at the Emirates stadium.
Gunners board are ready to hand a fresh contract to the Frenchman, but anti-Wenger threaten to crank up the heat.
NAIJ.com understands that the former Monaco boss who has been under heavy criticism this term is looking forward to sign a new deal.
But Mark King who is one of the protest organizers has warned that hell will be let loose if Arsene Wenger should sign the new deal.
“The protests don’t stop, even if Wenger announces that he is staying.
“It won’t be a major surprise if and when he signs a new contract. But it will be a shameful decision from an owner who has no sporting ambition for Arsenal.
“Wenger has done nothing in the past three years to justify a new deal and we will ramp up the protests against the board and the manager,'' he said
Recall that the fans have protested twice after Arsenal's embarrassing exit in the UEFA Champions League losing to Bayern Munich in the round of 16.
