Arsenal are the seventh richest club in the world, but despite their huge turnover off the pitch, there could be losses as well..
Manager Arsene Wenger is under intense pressure by fans to quit after a decade of underachievement despite having a two year contract extension offer.
NAIJ.com can confirm that Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez have their contracts expiring in the summer of 2018 and with the duo stalling, their exit seems more possible with every passing minute.
The duo are not the only ones with contracts expiring in the summer of 2018 and eligible to sign for free for other clubs from January 2018.
The Gunners have 12 other stars from fringe to first team players whose contract expire soon in less than 18 months.
1. Yaya Sanogo
Sanogo is the least likely to sign a new contract of all the players on this list. The 21-year-old has not played for the club in two years and is likely to leave at the end of the season.
2. Joel Campbell
Last season, the Costa Rican made 30 appearances for Arsenal but this season was loaned to Sporting Lisbon where he has impressed.
Another who is less likely to be afforded time to shine at Arsenal.
3. Aaron Ramsey
For some reason Ramsey has been allowed to enter the final 16 months of his contract. The Welsh is an important player for Arsenal and has shown numerous times that he has the quality to play for the best.
4. Mesut Ozil
Arsenal's highest earner has already said he would wait for Wenger to decide his future before committing. What ever the story, Ozil does not seem happy at the Emirates.
5. Alexis Sanchez
Arsenal's second highest earner has carried Arsenal numerous times this season with his all action display. It is folly that a club like Arsenal would allow the Chilean run down his contract.
Bayern Munich, Juventus are interested in his services.
6. Jack Wilshere
Xavi and Andres Iniesta once called a 17-year-old Wilshere the future of English football but he has not lived up to that promise. Injuries have played their part in slowing down his progress however.
Chances are slim that Wenger (or whosoever replaces him) would give the Bournemouth loanee a new contract.
7. Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain
Another young hope who promises a lot. Its easy to forget that Chamerlain is just 23-years-old given his long stay at Arsenal.
His chances of getting a contract are great but he need to be more consistent.
8. Wojciech Szczesny
The Pole was supposed to be the next Arsenal goalkeeping great but poor attitude (smoking in the bathroom) led to him being frozen from the team. Enjoying a fine career on loan at Roma.
9. Carl Jekinson
Has played just once this season as injuries have taken their toll. The Englishman was supposed to be a good right back but despite shinning in flashes at West Ham on loan, his career has stalled.
10. Per Mertesacker
Arsenal's captain does not deserve a new contract given his age, injuries and losing his starting spot on the team to Mustafi. A move back to Germany would suit the 33-year-old.
11. Santi Carzola
Cazorla has had no luck over the past two years, featuring in just 23 Premier League games since the start of the 2015/16 season.
He is an important player in the team but at 32-years-old, Arsenal would not look to renew his contract.
12. Kieran Gibbs
Gibbs was supposed to be Arsenal and England's starting left-back for another twelve years but injuries and inconsistencies have affected him.
Nacho Monreal is first choice while is a a player who is just privileged to be at Arsenal.
