- Manchester United have held talk with Neymar's agent over a move to Old Trafford
- The Red Devils are ready to pay his £173 million buy-out clause
- But United must qualify for next season's UEFA Champions League for them to have the chance
Premier League club Manchester United have reportedly held a meeting with the agent of Barcelona star Neymar over a potential move to Old Trafford this summer.
NAIJ.com understood that United are willing to make a move of £173 million with £416,000-a-week contract for the Brazilian star.
But Jose Mourinho and his chiefs at Old Trafford must have it at the back of their minds that qualifying for next season's UEFA Champions League might determine if Neymar would join them.
Mourinho’s men face a difficult task of making the top four in the Premier League, but could earn participation in the Continent’s premier club competition next season by triumphing in the Europa League.
Manchester United who are 20-time English champions would also offer the 25-year-old Brazilian international a better financial and football opportunity.
