Tragic! Liverpool legend who won 44 trophies dies

Premier League club Liverpool have been thrown into mourning on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 after the death of club's legend Ronnie Moran.

Moran who joined the club in 1949 winning 44 trophies died at the age of 83 after brief illness in his house.

His son Paul Moran confirmed the death of his Father on Twitter on Wednesday morning, March 22, 2017.

Ronnie Moran was a left-back during his playing days for Liverpool scoring 17 goals in 379 matches for the Reds.

He was hugely admired for his ability to get the best out of players and worked under Shankly, Bob Paisley, Joe Fagan, Kenny Dalglish, Graeme Souness and Roy Evans.

Moran was there when Liverpool won the European Cups of 1977, 1978, 1981 and 1984 and helped mastermind a period of domestic dominance where he helped win two League titles as a player and 11 on the coaching staff.
