5 Super Eagles stars who have at least a 'foreign' parent
The current Super Eagles squad contains a few players who were born abroad, but have their roots traced to Nigeria.
We are excluding those who grew up in other countries like Alex Iwobi and Victor Moses because they actually have full Nigerian parents.
To add, the coach if the team, Gernot Rohr is not Nigerian. He is German and has worked with the likes of Gabon, Niger and Burkina Faso.
Seems the national team is changing in ways not many would have thought possible a few years ago.
Here we look at players who have at least an 'OYINBO' parent.
1. William Troost-Ekong
The Gent defender is one of the first names on the national team sheet. Father is Nigerian and mother is from Netherlands.
He won the bronze Olympic medalists with the U-23 Dream Team having been involved in the 2016 Rio Olympics.
