Arsenal star Theo Walcott has told his teammates to come together to arrest their decline this season saying: “we can’t be fighting each other.”
Walcott also confirmed that Alexis Sanchez was involved in a training ground altercation with Laurent Koscielny before the 3 - 1 loss to Liverpool.
Wenger has initially denied the training ground bust-up but Walcott who was speaking after the humiliating loss to Bayern Munich confirmed the incident.
He told the Evening Standard: “Things get taken out of proportion — we all know this. There are certain things that happen at training grounds.
“I’m sure it happens at every other training ground, most of the time, really.”
But he added: “You don’t see it often at Arsenal. Things have happened. They need to stay in the dressing room and the players and staff need to sort it out.
“We are in it together here. We can’t be fighting each other.
“I don’t really want to go into it but the stuff that has gone on did not affect our first half here.”
Fans have been protesting Wenger's stay at the club with many calling for his resignation following the 10- 2 aggregate loss to Bayern Munich in the Champions League round of 16.
