Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has denied reports of a training ground bust-up with his star player Alexis Sanchez.
The Chilean reportedly had a training ground bust-up with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger in the build-up to the Gunners trip to Anfield which saw him start from the bench.
It was gathered that Sanchez felt humiliated for being dropped by Wenger for Saturday’s 3-1 defeat by Liverpool and has resolved to look for a new club this summer and the club are aware of his intentions.
Sources say Wenger has been unimpressed with Sanchez’s attitude, particularly his behaviour during the 5-1 defeat by Bayern Munich in the Champions League last month.
The 28-year-old publicly berated his fellow players in the Allianz Arena and he continued to point the finger in the dressing room after the game.
Despite these reports Wenger has come out to deny reports of a rift between himself and his player.
Sanchez has already rejected Arsenal’s offer of a new deal worth £180,000 a week with his current contract set to expire in the summer of 2018.
