Super Eagles handler Gernot Rohr has explained his memorable experience after visiting popular Balogun market in one of his trips to the commercial city of Lagos.
Rohr who worked as a pundit at the 2017 African Cup of Nations Championship held in Gabon revealed how excited he was when he visited the Balogun market.
The 63-year-old German tactician also got a gift for Mainz defender, Leon Balogun to show him where he thought his father comes from in Lagos.

“We went to Balogun market, it was wonderful and a big crowd and some people spoke about football. ‘You must beat Cameroon’ they kept telling me.
“I took a photo because I will send it to Leon Balogun. His father comes from there, I think.
“I had a beautiful day in Lagos. In this big city, very nice people, everybody is big on hospitality.
“I spend some time in Lagos, I have seen not only the final of the Federation Cup. I saw the Super Cup final in Abuja before coming back to Lagos.” Rohr said
Gernot Rohr's next crucial assignment is to prepare the Super Eagles for the double header World Cup qualification fixtures against African champions Cameroon in August 2017.
