Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has donated whopping sum of £200,000 to a youth club in his hometown of Rosario as the forward wants the money to be used to recover a football pitch.
The report stated that Messi is elated to help the next generation and shelled out money from foundation for kids' facilities.

Lionel Messi's foundation was set up in 2007 and has a special focus on helping children and youths who may be disadvantaged.
While reacting to Lionel Messi's gesture, Damian Sala who is the secretary of sports in capital Buenos Aires thanked the Argentine international.
“This is a very important achievement because it is the first time that an entity of this size has made a major investment in Lanus.” Sala explained.
