One of Nigeria’s foremost Photojournalists Bamigbelu Ademola Origa has been diagnosed with Ostyeomyelitis and needs N5million for urgent treatment.
Osteomyelitis is an infection of the bone, a rare but serious condition. Infection in one part of the body may spread through the bloodstream into the bone, or an open fracture or surgery may expose the bone to infection.
In a chat with NAIJ.com Sports, the emotional Ademola pleads with Nigerians to assist him as the case with his leg is gradually deteriorating.
“Please help me tell Nigerians to assist me. I have to raise N5million in a matter of weeks which I don’t even know where to start from.
“I suffer pains and still suffering the pains. I work, walk and live with these pains and really need to undergo a surgery for hip replacement.
The very dogged Photojournalist also believes he still has a lot to offer the society.
"I have more that I can give to my country but my health may not permit me to do as much as I can do if things are not done. I have done many things in my field of profession to promote my country," he continued.
"I was invited by Institute Français Nigéria (French Embassy), Alliance Française Ibadan, Alliance Français Enugu, Black Arts American Chicago 2014 , thought Pyramid Arts Abuja, etc to showcase the culture of Nigeria football fans.
"I have done a photography exhibition on the life of #Ganiyu Elekuru a.k.a Baba Eleran, #Mudashiru Agboluwagi Lawal (MUDA OF AFRICA), #NIGERIAN SUPPORT CLUB, #BEAUTIFUL NUBIA, #CHRISTIAN CHUKWU etc. There is much I can still do. Nigerians should please help me," he emotionally said.
