Following the wording, Martial was dropped for the 1-1 draw against Stoke last weekend and 2-1 defeat against Hull City in midweek as the Red Devils sealed their League Cup final spot with a 3-2 aggregate win.
According to The Times, Martial is said to be ‘deeply frustrated with his hot-and-cold treatment’ at the club.
He was deemed important enough to start in the 1-1 draw against Liverpool at Old Trafford but was later dropped for subsequent games.
Mourinho’s public criticism of the 21-year-old despite in two of last three starts for United has also raised a lot of eyebrows.
Martial was linked with a shock loan move to Sevilla shortly before the transfer window opened, but it is believed he is happy in Manchester and wants to resolve the situation for the good of both his Red Devils and international career.
