- Hebei Fortune coach Manuel Pellegrini is keen on signing Samir Nasri and David Silva
- The former Manchester City coach is looking to spend £80m on the midfielders
- Silva is not keen on leaving Manchester City, Nasri wants negotiations with the club
Manuel Pellegrini will raid his former club Manchester City and look to sign midfielders David Silva and Samir Nasri for Hebei Fortune which he currently manages.
The Chilean is planning an £80m swoop for the Etihad aces with around £50m for Silva and £30m for Nasri, while also giving them a HUGE pay-rise.
It is believed Silva does NOT want to leave the Etihad, and is happy under Pep Guardiola with two-years left on his deal while French winger Nasri – on loan at Spanish giants Sevilla – is thought to be open to talks over a move to China.
A City source said: “Pellegrini has shown an interest in two players, David Silva and Samir Nasri for this coming summer.
“There is a lot of money over there as has been widely publicised, and he is willing to offer a fair chunk to get them to go.
“The wages players are getting in China are incredible. There are some crazy figures being talked about that they could get.
“David has no interest in leaving the club. Samir could be a different proposition altogether as his career here is all but over.
“Pellegrini loves both and the sanctions China are looking to bring in doesn’t really affect him at present with the players he has.”
Pellegrini is also looking at wantaway West Ham star Dimitri Payet but the 29-year-old has already turned down an incredible £500k-a-week offer.
Payet is desperate to return to France with Marseille.
Chinese Super League officials have already brought in a new rule for next season – meaning only three foreign players can be in one starting eleven at a time.
And there will not be a limitation on how many non-Chinese footballers you can have in an entire squad.
