Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has explained that the Blues have the quality to win without the embattled Spanish international striker Diego Costa.
Diego Costa has been the topic of discussion since his row with Chelsea manager Antonio Conte which forced the coach to omit his name from the squad that faced Leicester City on Saturday, January, 14, 2017.
The 24-year-old Belgian goalkeeper said that the team's quality was exemplified in their 3-0 win against much heralded rivals Leicester City in a Premier League encounter.

"We have the quality to replace Diego Costa, although he is important for us, but if he is not there for one game, we can call on another better striker.
"There is obviously a different way of playing because against [Robert] Huth and [Wes] Morgan there is no point in giving long balls to Eden, Willian and Pedro. But I think we did well and we were able to control the game and early moments.". Courtois explained
Meanwhile, it is still unclear if Diego Costa will remain at Stamford bridge this season considering the statement he made on Sunday January 15, 2017.
