Reports claim Bayern Munich midfielder Holger Badstuber has agreed a loan move to ManchesterCity.
According to journalist Philip Harmeling, minor details need to be trashed out before a deal is completed.
"Badstuber has accepted a loan move to Manchester City," he tweeted on Friday. "Few details to be done before confirmations by both clubs."
The injury prone player has only featured once for Bayern this season as various knee injuries over the last few years have taken their toll.
According to 90min.com, the Germany international has missed 125 matches for Bayern since 2013.
He is great in the air, composed on the ball and has remarkable passing ability. He is also left footed which might by why Guardiola needs him to play on the left hand side of central defense.
With City having spent huge sums on the likes of Eliaquim Mangala, Nicolas Otamendi and John Stones - who have all disappointed on some level.
