Despite Nigeria's inability to qualify for the 2017 African Cup of Nations, Super Eagles handler Gernot Rohr is expected to fly to Gabon for the 31st edition of Africa's most glamorous championship.
It was stated that Gernot Rohr's aims to travel to Gabon for the 2017 Nations Cup is for him to closely monitor Algeria and Cameroon who are Nigeria's Group B opponents in the Russia 2018 World Cup qualifiers.
Super Eagles spokesman Toyin Ibitoye explained that the 63-year-old German wants to be in Gabon to watch the pattern that will be used by Cameroon and Algeria at the 2017 AFCON.
