The house of Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez in Barcelona has been reportedly seized by the Spanish tax office who are currently investigating the Chile international for tax fraud while playing in Spain.
According to the report, Sanchez was accused of actively withholding taxes while playing for Barcelona before moving to Arsenal in July 2014.
The 27-year-old spent three seasons at Camp Nou and he was said to have a total debt of €3.7 million with the Spanish treasury.
During his playing days at Spanish giants Barcelona, Sanchez was reported to be using a tax haven in Malta to divert his incomes from image rights.
Sanchez is now the sixth players in the record books of Barcelona that have been accused of tax fraud by the Spanish courts.
Lionel Messi, Javier Mascherano, Neymar, Adriano and Samuel Eto's are the other players who have been accused of tax related issues.
